Ariana Welter

[BFA] Drawing

[BFA] Printmaking

Ariana grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and is in her fourth year pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Art with an emphasis in drawing and printmaking at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Although her emphasis is in drawing and printmaking Ariana also works with various other mediums such as ceramics, painting, and photography. Her current work, “Life, Death, Decay”, is centered around a fox’s life cycle and how certain plants and fungus grow once it starts to decay. Through this project she is exploring the scientific side of nature by looking into the process and creating watercolor and graphite pieces in the form of a field journal.
