Nostos Algos

This project explores nostalgia as an emotional state rather than a simple recollection of the past. Derived from the Greek roots nostos (return) and algos (pain), the term reflects a condition rooted not only in memory, but in the experience of being drawn back into feeling. Nostalgia is often associated with remembering positive moments, but it can also be something that holds and pulls us back. This project visualizes nostalgia as something that can envelop, restrain, and gradually loosen. This project allows viewers to follow the emotional progression and reflect on their own relationship with nostalgia.
