[BA] Fine Art

[BA] Graphic Design

[Minor] Mathematics

My work explores the idea of self and family focusing on capturing each with watercolor and color pencil. Born in the city of Moroleon in Guanajuato, Mexico, my family moved to the United States when I was six years old. Growing up, we encountered many obstacles and despite those changes, the stability of my family was something I could always count on. With these paintings, I want to show my family’s emotion and strength, the way that I see them through my own eyes.
