Abigail Zagotta

[BFA] Studio Art – Painting

I make paintings of my body and the spaces where my body exists. As an athlete, body awareness and the way my body interacts with space are significant factors of my life. My figure paintings bring awareness to the body’s muscle, shape, and form that enable me to move and exist in the world. My landscape paintings depict personal spaces to me where I spend a lot of my time. I focus on the form and accuracy when depicting them and place emphasis on my favorite aspect of the landscape.
