Carolyn Brady

[BA] Painting

[Minor] Business Law

My paintings are inspired by fond memories of growing up in rural New England, where I spent most of my childhood immersed in nature. After moving to Nebraska from Massachusetts, I have found myself reflecting upon dreamy memories of the ocean, rural hills and fields. I specifically study the atmosphere of these places in my memory and aim to convey the same atmosphere in my paintings. The landscapes I create help me reconnect to these memories as I aim to capture the sublimity of nature through paint.
