Morgan Jensen’s current capstone show, Endless Summer, is an expression of exploitation and disconnection through the lens of people trapped in an art museum, illustrated in graphite. It is about voyeurism, how we treat female-presenting bodies and people outside the norm, and the emotional toll of being an exhibit in your own life.
Morgan Jensen is a figurative artist working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art at University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a drawing emphasis and a minor in anthropology as a Regents Scholar. He primarily works in graphite and other two-dimensional media exploring themes of trauma and isolation. He has participated in the 33rd and 36th Annual Juried Undergraduate Exhibitions and the Undergraduate Capstone Exhibition in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery. He does commission work and has illustrated several book covers for independent publishers.
