Thesis Statement
100 Years of Fashion
Fashion is an expression in clothing, accessories, makeup, hairstyles, and much more. Everyone is familiar with fashion and the trends of each decade, but not the history and what influenced those trends. I created illustrations of characters for each decade with the style or outfit I put together from my research of what was popular during that time. I also created an interactive website with those illustrations. The website will take you through the decades while informing you about the history and what influenced that outfit in that decade of fashion. This work intends to show the viewer the fashion trends of each decade and the reason behind those trends.
